What do you want most from a car? A sporty drive?
High levels of comfort? Or plenty of space?
With the B-Class, you don’t have to choose. It bring together the best aspects of different kinds of car in one Mercedes-Benz.

In terms of design, dynamics and dimensions, the B-Class is simply unique. It combines a sporty chassis and muscular engines with outstanding ride comfort, generous interior space and a highly flexible cabin – and yet measures just 4.27 metres in length.
Interior
Despite the compact exterior of the B-Class, you’ll find remarkable levels of space and comfort inside. You’ll also find carefully chosen colours and seat fabrics that underline the sporty style, plus high-quality materials such as matt aluminium and the usual Mercedes-Benz standards of fit and finish.

Exterior
A quick glance is enough to see that the B-Class is no ordinary car. Take a longer look and the fascination merely grows. The aggressively styled bonnet, the striking rear, the wide track and sculpted wings all add up to a sporty, dynamic whole. It’s a package that combines striking design, optimum comfort and great versatility within a highly compact exterior.

Sandwich concept
With the B-Class, safety is partly a question of shape. It’s built with a sandwich concept double floor. In a head-on collision, the engine and transmission slide along the sloping front bulkhead and underneath the passenger compartment, considerably reducing the risk of injury. Thanks to the double floor, the occupants also sit higher in the B-Class than in conventional cars. This not only gives better all-round visibility, it can also be of benefit in a side-on collision.

Flexibility
When it comes to finding space for everything and everyone, the B-Class has all the answers. It features a 1/3:2/3 split folding rear seat as standard. Its load compartment has a completely flat floor when all three rear seats are folded forward. And the load compartment floor can be lowered for even greater carrying capacity. There are also a range of options that make your BClass even more practical. The TIREFIT option – in place of the standard space saver - allows two of the seat cushions to be stowed in the tyre well under the load compartment floor. The optional rear seat armrest can be folded down or removed completely, creating an instant through-loading facility for long items such as skis. And the optional EASY-VARIO system makes the interior even more versatile, enabling you to completely remove the rear seat backrests and the front passenger seat.

Cabin space Even when all the seats are in place, the B-Class still has plenty of space for your luggage. Thanks to a load compartment depth of 89.8 cm and a capacity of 504 litres, it allows you to transport a medium-sized pushchair without changing the seating layout. And when you need to carry even larger loads, the volume can be extended up to a maximum of 2,205 litres. Passenger accommodation is equally generous, with excellent legroom - especially for rear seat passengers.
